Go Gators!

On September 18th, the Gators were playing an old rival, Tennessee, in Knoxville. One of my friends from FSU helped locate a bar that was showing the game in Firenze. (The FSU game was not playing for her, unfortunately)

After Jannis’ famous lasagna, I convinced all of my roommates to join us to watch some American football. Jannis even wore one of my UF shirts. I taught them all how to chomp and they learned the “Orange/Blue” chant. (Not very hard) I also tried to teach them the basics of football, hoping to make big Gator fans out of them.



The Gators pulled out a win, so it was a very good night. ☺

    this post reminds me that you taught me the basics of football a while ago!! no one had ever explained downs so well before...it almost seemed simple! now i'm a better-informed fan :)

    Aww I'm glad the Gators won when new fans were watching! The Gator NAtion is everywhwere! Good thing you didn't take them to the Alabama game... ugh. I still love the GAotrs with all my heart, but COME ON!!!
